I had an opinion about Glass in the first book, this has been changed due to what happens in book 2. Having now become more familiar with all the characters my opinions on them and their actions are much more more emotionally involved. Grey Sister is a strong sequel, and while I did not love it as much as the first book is did not disappoint me. Nona is now 15 and she begins the story still struggling with what was left in the aftermath of Red Sister’s ending. That’s not Grey’s Sister’s fault, I think I had a fantasy hangover.Īs with Red Sister, Mark Lawrence treats us with vivid storytelling and well-crafted worldbuilding.

Review: After loving Red Sister I dived into this straight away and then, after the first 4 chapters, spent nearly 2 months reading it.
